This painting has a long story. I was fourteen years old when I did it. Before this work, the only thing my teacher let me paint were apples, landscapes, vases, etc. Suddenly I got to the class and asked my teacher her opinion about this idea I got in my mind. She told me it was ok if I wanted to try this kind of ¨concept¨.

Of course, I was lying. This paint is based in someone else´s work. I will send an Argentinian candy to all the ones who guess where did I get this ¨idea¨ from.
It took me more than four months to end it. Eventually, I was able to exhibit it in a bar located in the downtown. Someone called the owner of the bar and said he wanted to buy the paint. They told me about this.
I couldn´t. I just couldn´t sell it. It took me so much time, so much effort. What a silly, stupid little girl.
Six months after that, my teacher died. Beatriz was gone and I couldn´t draw for almost two years. A couple of weeks before her death, I got my violin. You may think I was replacing painting for playing an instrument. I did think that. I was fooling myself, pretending the violin was taking all the time I used to spend painting or drawing. Sometimes we humans, are able to believe our own lies.

Till the librarian of the Conservatory told me he was planning an exhibition.
